The idea

Instead of selling one conventional shirt sponsorship, Caledonian Braves is inviting 1,000 businesses from around the world to claim one numbered place on a single, iconic shirt design.
The idea was inspired by Deportivo Municipal in Peru, whose 1,000-sponsor shirt demonstrated the power of bringing businesses together through football. The Braves’ ambition is to take that inspiration in a new direction by creating THE $1M KIT: a one-of-one physical artefact supported by a global, interactive platform where every partner can be discovered.

What is THE $1M KIT?
THE $1M KIT is a global football and business project created by Caledonian Braves FC. Inspired by Deportivo Municipal’s 1,000-sponsor shirt in Peru, our ambition is to create a new world football first by bringing 1,000 businesses together at $1,000 each on one iconic football artefact and inside one interactive digital partner platform.
How much does it cost to become a Founding Partner?
Each of the 1,000 numbered partner places costs $1,000. Applications are subject to approval and the campaign terms.
What does my business receive?
Every approved partner receives a numbered place on THE $1M KIT design, a profile in the searchable digital directory, an official partner badge, campaign assets, a numbered certificate and participation in the Founding Partner network.
Will my logo appear on the physical shirt?
The campaign will be represented by one authenticated physical original. The detailed presentation of all 1,000 partners will be designed to work primarily through the interactive digital kit and directory, where every approved business can be discovered.
Is this an official Caledonian Braves playing kit?
No. THE $1M KIT is a separate, one-of-one campaign artefact and is not the club’s official matchday playing strip.
What exposure is guaranteed?
Every partner is guaranteed the deliverables included in the Founding Partner package, including its digital presence and campaign assets. Specific levels of media coverage, website traffic, leads or sales cannot be guaranteed.
Can any business apply?
Businesses from around the world can apply. Caledonian Braves retains final approval over every business, name, logo and category, and certain sensitive or unsuitable sectors will not be accepted.
When will applications open?
Applications will open in stages. Join the launch list to receive project news and be among the first to know when the initial partner places are released.
